Upon your arrival at Rome's airport, you'll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the vibrant city at your leisure. You can relax, stroll through the picturesque streets, or enjoy a leisurely meal before settling in for the night. Overnight stay in Rome.
Start your day with an American buffet breakfast at the hotel. At 9:00 AM, embark on a 3-hour guided walking tour of Rome, where you'll visit iconic sites such as Largo Argentina, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain, and the Spanish Steps. This immersive tour provides insights into the city's rich history and culture. The afternoon is yours to enjoy, allowing for additional exploration or relaxation. Overnight stay in Rome.
After breakfast, depart Rome at 7:00 AM for Naples by coach with a multilingual tour leader. In Naples, enjoy a walking tour of the historic center, taking in sights like Piazza del Plebiscito and the Royal Palace. Savor a delicious lunch featuring typical Neapolitan dishes, including mozzarella and pizza. Next, head to Pompeii, where you'll tour the ancient ruins that were buried by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 B.C. After your visit, proceed to Sorrento, known for its beautiful landscapes and citrus groves. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Sorrento.
Enjoy an American buffet breakfast at the hotel before departing for the island of Capri at 8:00 AM. Upon arrival at Marina Grande, you'll visit the famous Blue Grotto (weather permitting) and explore the beautiful Augustus Gardens, taking in stunning views of the coastline. A minibus will take you to Anacapri, where you can enjoy lunch before returning to Marina Grande for the ferry back to Sorrento. Dinner and overnight stay in Sorrento.
After breakfast, you will have another opportunity to visit Capri, retracing your steps to explore any sights you may have missed. After enjoying the island, you'll board the ferry back to the mainland and be transferred to Rome by coach. Arrive at your hotel or the nearest point by around 9:00 PM, concluding your Italy itinerary with fond memories of your Italian adventure. Dinner is not included.
